String equations and Whitham hierarchies in conformal maps dynamics
A class of solvable string equations for Whitham hierarchies is
presented which underlies integrable deformations of simply-connected quadrature
domains in the complex plane. Applications to the evolution of supports
of eigenvalues for normal random matrix ensembles in the large N limit are
indicated.
